Registration for the year 2019-2020
Fall Session starts on: September 7th, 2019
ADULT COURSE (13 YEARS AND OLDER)
– Adult Course Level 1 (Seijin 1) – No prior knowledge (APRIL START ONLY)
This course is for those who have no prior knowledge or background in Japanese. It starts only in April. The number of places is limited. *
– Adult Course Levels 2 – 5 (Seijin 2 – 5)
This course is for those who have some previous Japanese learning experience: students whose knowledge comes from self-study, private instruction or study at previous schools other than Montreal Japanese Language Centre. We recommend that students take a placement test to determine their level. The test takes place on the first day of each semester.
To register for our 2019 Fall Session (September 7th, 2019 to December 14th)
Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive the detailed information about the course by email one week prior to the start of classes.
If you have a child attending classes at the Montreal Japanese Language Centre, when completing registration please specify which grade they are in. If you wish to register your child, please refer to our Japanese site and follow the instructions to ensure that your application is properly considered.

Date and time: Saturdays from 10AM to 12 PM
April 2019 to March 2020, (Japanese school year)
1st semester “Spring Session”: April to June
2nd semester “Fall Session”: September to December
3rd semester “Winter Session”: January to March
TUITION FOR 2019 – 2020
Annual Registration Fee: $10 per family
1st semester (9 classes): $126
2nd semester (11 classes): $154
3rd semester (11 classes): $154
* For parents who have children registered in our kids’ programs, you are eligible for the family discount of $20 per children. Please complete the application form with your child class to receive the family discounts.
PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION
We only accept cheque or money orders,
payable to “Montreal Japanese Language Center”. Please bring your payment on the first day of class.
In case of absence without notice on the first day of each semester, your registration will be cancelled. Should you be absent the first 2 classes but still wish to continue, you must inform us before the semester begins. If you fail to submit your cheque by the 3rd class of each semester, $20 of handling fee will be charged per week ($60 max). There will be no refund after the 3rd class of each semester.
In case of emergency class cancellation due to bad weather or force majeure, tuition will not be refunded.
