Kindergarten (3yr~5yr)
Songs, video, arts & crafts, and books are used in a group setting to introduce hiragana, counting as well as basic expressions.
Elementary(6yrs and up)
Hiragana, katakana, kanji are introduced progressively. Understanding kanji stroke order and readings are also covered. Upper level students are encouraged to develop a deeper understanding of Japan and to discuss their Japan-related interests.
Adult(16yrs and older)
Classes are divided into 3 levels: Starter, Elementary and Pre-intermediate
Our courses are designed for those who learn Japanese in Canada and want to increase the number of things they can do using Japanese.
- Students speak, listen, write, and read in Japanese on practical topics such as “ordering at a restaurant” and “inviting a friend to an event”.
- There will be a lot of oral communication activities between learners and a lot of discussion.
- Through various topics about Japan, students will learn about the culture and deepen their cultural and mutual understanding.
- Students will have a chance to take a peek at some typical Japanese traditional events.
