Kindergarten (3yr~5yr)
[OPEN TO CHILDREN OF JAPANESE HERITAGE] >> Songs, video, arts & crafts, and books are used in a group setting to introduce hiragana, counting as well as basic expressions.
Elementary(6yrs and up)
[OPEN TO CHILDREN OF JAPANESE HERITAGE] >> Hiragana, katakana, kanji are introduced progressively. Understanding kanji stroke order and readings are also covered. Upper level students are encouraged to develop a deeper understanding of Japan and to discuss their Japan-related interests.
Adult(16yrs and older)
Classes are divided into 3 levels: Starter, Elementary and Pre-intermediate
[OPEN TO EVERYONE] >>Our courses are designed for those who learn Japanese in Canada and want to increase the number of things they can do using Japanese.
- Students speak, listen, write, and read in Japanese on practical topics such as “ordering at a restaurant” and “inviting a friend to an event”.
- There will be a lot of oral communication activities between learners and a lot of discussion.
- Through various topics about Japan, students will learn about the culture and deepen their cultural and mutual understanding.
- Students will have a chance to take a peek at some typical Japanese traditional events.
